At a rest area

We're on state road 285 heading towards Carlsbad Cavern. We will most likely retire at Artesia, a city a few miles south of Roswell. I haven't sited any UFOs but I'm keeping a look out. Got my camera and video ready!

By the way the sky is AMAZING! The night is clear the road is dark and you can actually see the sky just full of stars. Stars that you can't see in the city. So we got excited that we actually stopped on the side of the road and poke our heads out the moon roof of the car. it felt like we were in a planetarium or something. I wish I had some type of camera just to capture how spectacular the starry night looked.

Oh and we saw a jack rabbit at the rest stop. He looks so cute.
